SEMICARENATURE INFERIORI
È possibile rimuovere le semicarene inferiori senza dover smontare le semicarene superiori e il cupolino; Procedere nel modo seguente:
❍ svitare le 4 viti (A) di fissaggio della semicarena inferiore a quella superiore;
❍ svitare una delle 2 viti (B) inferiori che fissano le semicarene tra loro;
❍ svitare la vite (C) di fissaggio della semicarena inferiore al convogliatore frontale;
❍ rimuovere la semicarenatura
inferiore.
REMOVING THE LOWER
FAIRINGS
The lower fairings can be removed without removing the upper fairings and the front fairing. Proceed as follows:
❍ unscrew the 4 screws (A) fixing the lower fairing to the upper fairing;
❍ unscrew one of the 2 lower screws (B) fixing the fairings together;
❍ unscrew the screw (C) fixing the lower fairing to the front air scoop;
❍ remove the lower fairing.
Ispezione
Appoggiare su di un piano la molla e misurarne la lunghezza libera (L).
Limite di servizio:
270 mm.
Sostituire la molla se la lunghezza non rientra nel limite.
❍ Esaminare la superficie esterna dei due tubi portanti e quella interna dei due foderi; non
dovranno apparire rigature, scalini o punti di forzamento.
❍ Controllare che ciascun tubo portante scorra liberamente allinterno del proprio fodero, ma
senza presentare eccessivo gioco.
Verificare la rettilineità dei tubi portanti: massimo errore ammesso
0,10 mm.
❍ Verificare le condizioni delle boccole (17 e 22): non devono presentare solchi o scalinature e non deve essere visibile il rame di supporto sul lato in entrata. In caso affermativo sostituire la boccola.
❍ Verificare la planarità dello scodellino (18) appoggiandolo su di un piano di riscontro: se risulta distorto; sostituirlo.
Inspection
Place the spring on a flat surface and measure its length when not under compression (L).
Service limit: 270 mm
If the value measured is not within this limit, change the spring.
❍ Examine the outer surface of the two stanchions and the inner surfaces of the two sliders. They should be free of scoring, notches or signs of forcing.
❍ Check that each stanchion slides smoothly inside the sliders and that there is not excessive play.
Ensure that the stanchions are perfectly straight. Max. deviation allowed: 0.10 mm
❍ Check that the bushes (17 and 22) are free of scoring and notches. The copper on the bush inlet side should not be visible. If this is not the case, change the bush.
❍ Ensure that the retainer (18) is not bent. Put it onto a proper surface. If it is bent, change the retainer.
